Calpe is the province of Alicante. It was once an ancient fishermen's settlement. The small town of the Costa Blanca mixes Romanesque ruins and picturesque natural parks with a host of modern urban buildings. There are still remnants of ancient peoples here. The first buildings were built by the Iberians in the Bronze Age.
