Albir is the most densely populated town in the municipality of Alfaz de l'Pi with a population of 1,8394 (2017). Albir has a beach exclusively made up of stones. This pebble beach is bordered to the north by Cap Blanc beach and to the south by the Sierra Helada, and is 500 metres long. To the south, where the beach ends, some coves near the Sierra Helada cliffs begin.
There is more fauna and flora preserved at the seafloor than on land, so the underwater world should definitely be explored. This beach has no nearby port and the water is clearer here. This beach is Blue Flag rated. It is also the place to visit the Outdoor Film Festival and Fair in early August.
