San Miguel de Salinas is a municipality in Valencia, Spain. 55% of the population are foreign nationals, mainly British and Europeans, but also people from other countries outside the European Union. Located between Torrevieja and Pilar de la Gorda, it is the highest town in the region. The town is home to a salt marsh. The town is one of the most popular tourist destinations due to its proximity to the coast.
