El Perellio is a Spanish municipality in the province of Tarragona (Catalonia). The town is located in the Bajo Ebro area. There are many historical places to visit such as the parish church dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in neoclassical style. The church has a single nave with three side altars and a Latin cross plan. The famous La Malada Cave was inhabited about 35,000 years ago. The most important evidence of human presence in the area during the prehistoric period is the cave paintings. El Abrigo de Cabra Fexet, preserves examples of the most outstanding art of European prehistory.
