Sagunto is a town in south-eastern Spain, Valencia. It is located 30km from Valencia, next to the Azahar Coast, which is washed by the Mediterranean Sea. It retains the best known traces of the ancient Iberian and Roman city of Saguntum 'Sagunta'. Saguntum's history of two millennia offers a wide range of monumental structures from different eras and styles. Sagunto hosts several festivals, mostly religious festivals. The Begonia Festival is held in August.
